Rivers & Spirited Away

I was inspired by Stone's post about Princess Mononoke to bring up another Miyazaki film, Spirited Away. The main character, Chihiro, gets trapped in a magical land and befriends a boy named Haku, who also happens to be the spirit of a river. Haku also takes the form of a dragon, which I feel could be some aesthetic inspiration for the river puppet. I particularly like Haku's colors and flowing movements and I think it can be incorporated in both our physical and sonic representations of a river.
