This is a beat I made over the summer- I really like the main sample in it and I think it's pretty representative of the type of music I like to make.  One of the major things I like about this track, which directly relates to what I want to do in this class, is that the drum samples get affected by the processing on the master so that they change and sound different every time they hit.  I know this is technically undesirable, but I like the difference in sound, and I want to explore more on how to emulate this effect while controlling it.

I know this is a short clip but I just stumbled across it on YouTube and really loved what this group of people was doing.  The sounds evolve in a really organic way and there are a few moments in this piece that really evoke feelings of anxiety and franticness.  I think atonal improvisation like this is really effective especially when contrasted with more consonant harmonies at a different point in a piece.
